The Brazilian Butt Lift will naturally reshape the body by combining liposuction and lipo-filling procedures. The surgeon creates or increases volume in the buttocks while reducing the size of the waist, hips and thighs.
The buttock lipo-filling procedure in detail
The length of the procedure varies depending on the amount of fat to be removed. It is performed in an operating room under general anesthesia. The surgeon first suctions the amount of fat desired from the predetermined areas. This amount can range from 500 to 5,000 cc of fat. This traditional liposuction is performed using microcannulas that leave virtually no scar. Once removed, the fat is purified. Only the adipose cells, i.e. the cells containing fat are grafted for more natural assimilation. Fat is injected back into the gluteal muscle and subcutaneous tissue using microcannulas that leave no visible scars.
This body reshaping technique offers permanent results. The injected fat will follow the patient’s weight fluctuations. It is crucial for patients to maintain a stable weight and avoid gaining or losing weight too fast.
